This is a superb little museum, which is unusual in that the artist's
paintings are displayed in the actual house he lived in.
The house has been preserved, so that it looks exactly as it
did when Benka lived in it during the 1960's and until his death
in 1971.
His paintings are original, vibrant pieces along
a folk theme, but equally interesting is the time capsule
of the house itself, showing life as it was in Slovakia in
the 1960's.
