Skanzen, Jahodnicke Haje

On the outskirts of Martin, nestled within a wood of pine trees, lies an open-air museum dedicated to the 'Slovak Village'.

The Skanzen at Jahodnicke Haje shows the mode of dwelling and folk life style of traditional rural communities in Slovakia during the C19th. Here, the different folk styles from Orava, Liptov and Turiec regions can all be seen.
