Levoca
|
Levoca is a town rich
in culture and history. The main square is lined with dozens
of burgher houses, many of which now serve as fine hotels and
restaurants.

|
 |
In the center of the square is the town hall, one of Slovakia's
most beautiful buildings, and next to it, the cage of shame.
There are a number of museums in Levoca, a Ski Centre, as well
as a theater and many splendid churches.
|
|
Indeed, St. James' Cathedral, next to the town hall,
houses one of Slovakia's most well-known tourist attractions,
Majster Pavol of Levoca's Main Altar.
