Kremnica
Kremnica is among the most beautiful towns in Slovakia, and a must for anyone visiting Central Slovakia.
Region: Banska Bystrica Population: 6,700
Kremnica Town Center
Amongst the attractions on offer is the museum of coins and medals, the old crafts museum, the town gate and Kremnica castle.

Kremnica is most famous, however, for its mint, which has been producing coins since the C14th, and still produces the nations coins today.
