| Description: | Vrátna Valley is situated in the Malá Fatra mountains, 600 to 1709 m. Ski Centre Vrátna consists of 5 interconnected localities: Paseky, Poludňový grúň, Príslop, Tižinka and Chleb. There are 120 guaranteed ski days (the 2004/2005 ski season lasted for 127 days) and more than 120 000 visitors during the winter (2004/2005 ski season). You can choose one of 14 surface lifts and 2 cableways (chairlift and gondola), the overall transport capacity is 10,454 people per hour. Ski Centre Vrátna – it has 10.6 km slopes, 17 ski trails. The new 8-person gondola to Chleb is the novelty for the 2005/2006 winter season and it operates all year long!!! 9 trails are covered by snowmaking at Poludňový Grúň, Paseky, Príslop and Tížinka. |
