Chapter 1: Krivan, Poprad
and Spisska Sobota
This resulted in the contents of the sack spilling out over the
region surrounding the mountain. Mountains, valleys, rivers, forests,
waterfalls, lakes all spilled out over the land below, bears, deer,
chamois and many other animals also leapt out from the sack. Meanwhile,
the peak that had torn the sack had been permanently curved by the
impact.
So now you know the reason why Mount Krivan is curved, and why
the Tatras Mountains have so many natural beauties in such a small
area.
Having thanked the couple for the loan of their binoculars, we
took one last look at Krivan and got into the car. The next time
we would see the curved mountain would be at the end of our journey.
We set off once more and headed for Poprad.
